Azathoth

Azathoth is the Outer God known as the Blind Idiot God — a vast, mindless cosmic force at the centre of ultimate chaos, whose existence is heralded by a monotonous, piping music. It does not appear directly in the H-Cell Chronicle but exerts a profound and terrifying influence through Hex, who experiences dissociative episodes in which he perceives the Azathoth void overlaying reality. During one such episode at the Oasis of Whispers, Hex lowered his weapon, walked to the pool's edge, and knelt as though awaiting his master's arrival — suggesting his connection to the entity has deepened beyond mere psychological trauma. The humming associated with Azathoth has also begun affecting Hanover, indicating a possible spreading contagion of its influence.
