Convent of Saint Mary and the Twelve Apostles

The Convent of Saint Mary and the Twelve Apostles is a Coptic religious house in Cairo's old Coptic Quarter, housed in an ancient limestone structure. It is run by Mother Superior Theodora and home to a community of nuns, including the young Sister Marguerite. The convent became operationally significant when the cell's Aqua Mortis ritual required dust from the bedsheets of a virgin nun — prompting Haze to undertake a nocturnal break-in. His stealth failed spectacularly, resulting in a confrontation with Mother Superior Theodora, a curious encounter with Sister Marguerite who concealed him in a closet, and a formal complaint to the garrison commandant the following morning. The Mother Superior later extended formal forgiveness whilst firmly reminding Sister Marguerite of her vows.
