Egyptian Desert

The Egyptian Desert is the vast, featureless expanse of North African terrain surrounding Cairo and extending to the Oasis of Whispers and the El Alamein front. It serves as the overarching geographic context for the WWII North Africa arc of the campaign. H-Cell traverses it by camel under Khalid's guidance, camping overnight under a canopy of stars with artillery fire audible on the western horizon.
