Hedgehog Team Camp

The Hedgehog Team Camp is the forward operating base of the Hedgehog SOE unit in the Egyptian Desert, south of the Kata Depression. It is where H-Cell rendezvous with Captain Aldridge's four-man team, receives the operational briefing, and plans the assault on the Oasis of Whispers. Aldridge used a map spread across the bonnet of a Jeep to brief the joint force, and the camp holds the Hedgehog team's vehicle assets including the stolen German truck and towed anti-aircraft gun. After the battle at the Oasis, the surviving members of the Hedgehog team were left mentally shattered, with Harris dead and Webb seriously wounded.
