Old Quarter

The Old Quarter is the historic district of Cairo where Omar Hassan's café is located, and through which Lieutenant Pendleton leads H-Cell on their first night in the city. It is a dense, vibrant area of narrow streets, traditional commerce, and the kind of informal networks that Omar Hassan has spent a lifetime cultivating. The quarter also encompasses the Coptic neighbourhood where the Convent of Saint Mary and the Twelve Apostles is situated.
