Constable Kraft

Constable Kraft is a lean, grey-haired rural policeman with an impressive moustache and an ill-fitting uniform, stationed in the Dorset area of Tynum Manor. He arrives alongside Doctor Selwyn to examine H-Cell after they are found washed ashore on Brandy Bay beach in October 1942. Methodical and sceptical, he questions the group closely about their lack of identification, their presence in the Channel during wartime, and the suspicious absence of any registered shipping in the area — explicitly raising the possibility they are German spies using American accents as cover. He accepts Hex's implied clandestine mission story while pressing for names, and is ultimately stood down when Hertz's reference to 'Pisces' triggers escalation to a higher level of British intelligence.
