Daisy

Daisy is a middle-aged period nurse at Tynum Manor House in 1942 Dorset who tends to H-Cell during their recovery after washing ashore. She is the first person the cell speaks with on regaining consciousness, informing them they have been asleep for three days, that it is Sunday the 18th of October 1942, and that they were found on Brandy Bay beach in a terrible state. She replaces their tide-ruined clothing with period-appropriate alternatives and maintains a businesslike warmth throughout — genuinely concerned for their welfare without asking inconvenient questions. When Hanover eventually wakes, Daisy attends to her separately, brings food and tea, and escorts Doctor Selwyn for the medical review.
