He briefs the cell on the filament heart's discovery, the Deep Energy Project, and the Karotechia cell in North Africa, presenting information in measured, deliberate instalments rather than full disclosure. He is characteristically evasive about specifics and firm about the limits of what he will share: when Hanover tells him they need him to fill in gaps, he replies curtly that he will not be filling in any gaps.
Finch appears across both the English and Egyptian threads of the campaign, co-ordinating the cell's transit to North Africa, directing them to find and stop the Scions of the Black Sun before Montgomery's advance overruns them. He confirms that the Scions' three senior officers have usual Wehrmacht support and instructs the cell to determine what they have been doing and stop it.
