Sam

Sam is a young fisherman at the Weymouth Quay Marina who agrees to take H-Cell out into the Deep Energy exclusion zone at night aboard his father's boat. He offers his father's vessel rather than the skipper's, which can carry four or five people, and suggests going out after moonrise — noting it is a new moon, making conditions dark. He is a brief but necessary contact, representing the local fisherman community that is most directly affected by the Deep Energy Project's disruption of the bay's ecosystem.
