Taffy

Taffy is Hedgehog's demolitions specialist — a small, wiry Welshman with enthusiasm for explosives that extends to complaining about German detonators in the desert heat. He immediately bonds with Hanover over their shared appreciation for unconventional ordnance, declaring her 'a lady after my own heart' when she demonstrates knowledge of what he does. During the assault on the Oasis he lobs a satchel charge into the parked German vehicles, producing a spectacular explosion of diesel and high explosives, before moving to seize the captured machine gun post. He is one of the few Hedgehog members to pass his sanity roll upon seeing Das Ungerhauer, and subsequently opened fire on the creature with the heavy machine gun — scoring the first hit that visibly appeared to actually hurt it. He is later noted as temporarily insane in 'fight' mode, continuing to engage even in a deranged state.
